Admissions & Registration
For academic year 2025-2026, Alef accepts students aged 3 (Pre-K) to 6 (KG2), provided they successfully complete the admissions process. Admission is based on the availability of places in the desired grade level and a detailed evaluation of the application. Alef has a detailed Admissions Policy that follows the laws, rules and regulations of the Jordanian Ministry of Education regarding admission and registration.

Age requirements as per MoE requirements:
The minimum age for students joining the KG, as of September,1st ,is as follows:
2 years and 8 months for pre-kindergarten.
3 years and 8 months for kindergarten 1.
4 years and 8 months for kindergarten 2.
5 years and 8 months for grade 1 (as of 2026).

Parents will receive an acceptance letter within a week at most from interview date based on interview/assessment results and consensually agreeing on Parent – School agreement terms and conditions as well as availability.
Parents are required to provide the school with a signed hard copy of the application form, while making sure it contains accurate information. Parents are also kindly required to attach all required documents:
A copy of the letter of acceptance.
A certified birth certificate, plus the child’s national ID number in Arabic.
Proper English/Arabic spelling of the child’s full name (to appear on all school documents).
A copy of the family booklet.
A copy of the father’s national ID.
Two recent passport-sized photos of the child.
A signed Parent - School contract (to be handed to parents upon acceptance)
Any required medical documents/tests as per the Parent - School contract requirements.
Copy of the child’s vaccination card.
Any incurred fees for application and registration.

Interviews with kindergarten students will be conducted with designated professional staff member.
Response will be shared within the week after.
Waiting list will be set up to ensure first-come-first-served policy is adhered to.
If the student is applying from abroad, an interview will be conducted online. All required application and official documents must be shared electronically via email.
